Membership

Are you looking to contribute your time and skills to a group of like minded people? Become a member of our club and participate in functions and help others to learn and contribute.

Adult membership is open to anyone over the age of 16. An initial joining fee and an annual membership fee apply. Junior membership for those aged 12 - 16 is available, with parental supervision.

Equipment

Our clubroom is home to a variety of equipment for gem cutting, faceting, polishing, silversmithing, etc.

Activities

The club has active field trip organisers and skilled and motivated instructors to make your time with the club enjoyable and productive

Minerals

We have a range of minerals and specimens on display in our clubroom

Opening times:

  • Wednesday 10:00am to 4:30pm
  • Thursday 10:00am to 4:30pm
  • Saturday 10:00am until 4:00pm

Because of covid restrictions could you please check in with the day's manager (click here for the list) by 7pm the day prior

The club provides a range of activities for all ages

Classes

Classes are run on a regular basis for active members (subject to a waiting list). The following courses are available:

  • Faceting
  • Cabochon cutting
  • Opal carving
  • Chain weaving
  • Silversmithing
